The Cooperstown boys basketball team rolled past Oxford 84-52 on Thursday as hosts of the Dick White Holiday Tournament.
The Hawkeyes got off to a blistering start, scoring 30 points in the first quarter alone. Cooperstown made 11 three-pointers as a team with seven different players hitting at least one trey.
Miles Nelen and Cooper Coleman led the offense with 19 and 18 points, respectively. Cooper Bradley (11 points) and Brody Murdock (10) also finished in double-figures in the victory.
Cooperstown improved to 6-0 with the win and will face Delhi in Friday’s title game
Delhi 73, Herkimer 43
Delhi took down Herkimer 73-43 at the Dick White Tournament on Thursday.
Seamus deMauro was the top scorer for the Bulldogs with 24 points while Tommy Nagy also finished in double-figures with 15 points. Cael Townsend and Ivan Richardson added eight and seven points, respectively.
Delhi (4-2) will take on host Cooperstown in the final on Friday.

Cooperstown 57, Delhi 45
The Cooperstown girls defeated Delhi 57-45 as hosts of the Dick White Tournament on Thursday.
Katie Crippen led the Hawkeyes with 13 points and seven rebounds while Mia Kaltenbach, Brenna Seamon and Polly Kennedy each scored 10 points.
Kaltenbach and Kennedy each registered double-doubles, finishing with 11 and 10 rebounds, respectively. Kaltenbach also had seven assists.
Leading Delhi in scoring were Danielle Ennist with 13 points and Lexi Davis with 11.
Cooperstown (6-2) will take on Unatego in the title game on Friday. Delhi (1-4) will face Hamilton in the consolation game.
Unatego 49, Hamilton 38
The Unatego girls defeated Hamilton 49-38 in the opening round of the Dick White Tournament on Thursday.
The Spartans jumped out to a 15-3 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Harly Birdsall led the way with 24 points including four three-pointers. Lizzie Craft and Raelynn Parks added 11 and eight points, respectively.
Unatego (6-1) will face Cooperstown in Friday’s final.
