After two games, Coahulla Creek is still searching for its first points of the season.
Coahulla Creek (0-2) was shut out 28-0 at Chattooga (2-0) Friday night.
Coahulla got some more offense going after being held under 60 total yards in a week one shutout loss to Northwest Whitfield, but the Colts couldn’t find the end zone.
Quarterback Waelyn Baliles finished 15-for-25 with 103 yards, with 50 to Wyatt Mann, and Maddox Jackson totaled 30 yards rushing.
While the Colts weren’t able to find the end zone, they couldn’t stop Chattooga’s Zayden Cook from ending up in it.
Cook scored all four of the Indians’ touchdowns, including a 97-yarder after a Colt turnover inside the 5.
Tyler Douglas led the Colts in tackles with nine. Jackson Lowery had seven and Colby Ewart had six.
Coahulla Creek begins Region 7-2A play next Friday with a road trip to North Cobb Christian at 7:30 p.m.
