HAVERHILL — The 22nd annual Festival of Trees at the Buttonwoods Museum is now open through Dec. 10 and features more than 100 decorated trees and centerpieces.
Veterans and First Responders Appreciation Day is Sunday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission for all veterans and first responders with ID. Family members receive discounted admission.
Greater Haverhill Art Association art demonstrations are from noon to 4:30 p.m.
The festival’s gala event, the Holiday Jubilation, is Dec. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 each and include admission, music from OBC Arts Collaborative and a buffet. The festival is closed Nov. 27 and 28 and Dec. 4.
Events and activities include a family day, an ugly holiday sweater night, senior day, holiday movie night, ladies and educators night, children’s scavenger hunt day, art demonstrations and live music.
Raffle and silent auction winners will be notified by phone after 6 p.m. on the final day of the festival.
