Kris Bour, a licensed massage therapist and physical therapy assistant, will be the guest speaker for the upcoming Fairfield Glade Fantastic Quilters membership meeting.
The meeting starts at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in the fellowship Hal of Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church at 231 Westchester Drive.
With 27 years of experience, Bour specializes in pain relief through manual and frequency therapies at Healing Touch Therapeutic Massage at 1174 N. Main St., Crossville.
With extensive advanced training in techniques designed to reduce and relieve pain, she is passionate about helping individuals improve mobility and enhance their quality of life.
During her presentation, Bour will guide Quilt Guild members through specific techniques to help keep their hands pain-free and mobile.
She will also explain how these methods can be applied to other areas of the body to combat pain and improve overall mobility.
Additionally, Bour will introduce two innovative frequency therapies now available in Cumberland County:
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy. A non-invasive therapy that stimulates and rejuvenates cells to promote healing and reduce pain.
Near Infrared Therapy. A cutting-edge technology that uses light wavelengths to penetrate deep into tissues, enhancing circulation and reducing inflammation.
Her presentation at the beginning of the meeting will be followed by the Guild’s business meeting and time for show and tell.
