BURGLARY
Police are investigating a burglary in the 1100 block of Niagara Avenue. A male victim told officers that sometime between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Friday someone broke into his newly remodeled property by breaking a basement window. The victim said a sink, a water meter, and all of the piping in the basement were taken from the property.
THEFT
Officers are looking into a vehicle break-in in the 9400 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A male victim told police that sometime between Aug. 5 and 3 a.m. Friday, someone broke into his 2018 GMC Terrain by unknown means. The victim said jewelry, valued at $2,600, and sneakers, valued at $450, were taken from the vehicle.
BURGLARY
Police are investigating a burglary in the 400 block of 12th Street. A male victim told officers that sometime between midnight and 4:30 a.m. Saturday, someone broke into his home by entering an open side window. The victim said a quantity of food, some medication and two tablets were taken from the home.
ARREST
A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 3:56 p.m. Sunday. The 38-year-old woman was charged with petit larceny. She is accused of taking more than $282 worth of merchandise without paying for the items.
