The Athens-Limestone County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the graduation of this year’s group of students from our youth leadership program — Limestone LEAD — at Athens State University on May 14.
Participants in the 2023-2024 class included students from across North Alabama; at Ardmore High School, Athens Bible School, Athens High School, Athens Renaissance School, Clements High School, Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, Tanner High School, West Limestone High School and Westminster Christian Academy.
Each year, these students gain insight and hands-on experience into team building, community services, local and state government, cultural arts, business and industry, health care and agriculture.
Students in the Limestone LEAD program graduate as strong leaders and engaged citizens with a developed awareness of the needs in our community.
We are so proud of this year’s group of graduates, and we can’t wait to see how they will positively impact our city, state and nation in the years to come.
