Ayva Hamlett belted two solo home runs, Kaylee Habib had a home run and six RBI and Kayden Ouellette had a three-run home run as the Wildcats completely dominated their CAC rivals. Habib was also the winning pitcher, going five innings and striking out six.
Whittier Tech 13, Lowell Catholic 0
On Monday, Whittier blanked Lowell Catholic. Maddie Noury was 3 for 4 with a homer and two RBIs, and Ainsley Rousseau was also 3 for 4 with a home run, driving in four and three times. Habib tossed the five-inning shutout, a one-hitter with eight strikeouts.
Salem also takes two
On Tuesday, Salem dominated Merrimack, 12-0 as Maddie Beeley led the way offensively finishing 4 for 4 with a pair of doubles and four RBIs. Adding to the offensive attack included Addie Lucier, who was 3 for 3 and scored three runs, Brianna Lucacio, who was 2 for 3 with three runs scored and three RBIs and Michaela Dailey, who was 2 for 2 with a home run. Dailey was also the winning pitcher, tossing five no-hit innings with two strikeouts.
On Monday, Salem trounced Bedford 18-2. Emersen Poulin and Lucier each had three hits and three RBIs. Jenny Olson, Lucacio, Maddie Beeley and Abby Beeley all had two hits apiece.
Greater Lawrence 10, Nashoba Tech 0
Sam Nasella spun the one-hit shutout, striking out nine. Tyre’Anna Metheny had three hits in her first varsity start for the 5-4 Reggies.
Windham 6, Alvirne 0
Junior Claire Ballard pitched a complete-game four-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts. Ballard, Kelly Wright, and Ari DeCotis each chipped in with two hits each.

On Tuesday, the Jaguars were defeated despite the performances of Anna Mitrou and Ava Runde had two hits each.
Timberlane 2, Merrimack 1
The Owls scored two runs in the top of the sixth on RBIs from Chaunda Poulin and Alexa Salafia to come away with the win.
Pinkerton 14, Trinity/West 1
Madi Cunha improved to 4-0 as she went the distance, allowing five hits and three walks with eight strikeouts. Maddie Schoenenberger (3 for 4, 3 runs, 2 RBIs), while, Avery Carvalho, Abby Carvalho (3 RBIs) and Cunha had two hits each for the unbeaten Astros.
Coe-Brown 18, Pelham 0
Pelham managed just two hits, one each from Lucy Daloia and Cheyenne Normandie.
Andover 4, Haverhill 0
Mia Rousseau tossed a four-hitter, striking out nine for the Warriors, now 4-4. Cayla Irwin and Ava Moscaritolo pitched well for the Hillies, striking out seven. Jamieson Pearl, Reece Favalora, Molly Tabb and Kaelyn Mazzaglia each collected a hit for Haverhill.
North Andover 6, Lowell 0
Jenna Roche was 2 for 4 with two RBIs, Riley Davis was 2 for 3 with a RBI and Riley Cogliano had a hit and scored twice for the unbeaten Knights.
Central Catholic 6, Methuen 0
Julia Malowitz tossed her second straight shutout, striking out 11. Caitlin Milner set the tone for the game belting a three-run home run in the first inning. Malowitz and Bella Boyer also had two hits apiece. Adriana Delaney singled and doubled for the 4-5 Rangers.
Baseball
Lawrence 18, Central Catholic 8
Lawrence led 5-0, only to give up seven runs in the top of the third, before adding two to tie it at 7-7. Central went ahead 8-7 before Lawrence scored seven runs in the bottom of the fourth to break the game wide open.
Jose Abreu was 3 for 4 with two runs scored and a RBI. David Manon finished 3 for 5 with a pair of doubles while he scored three times. Luis Arias and Will Perez both went 3 for 3 and combined to score three runs and knock in three others. Christian Reynoso was terrific in relief tossing 3.1 innings, giving up one earned run.
For Central, Jake Bartlett was the lone hitter with multiple hits with two.
Haverhill 4, Reading 3
Matt Aquino belted a walk-off two-run home run, his second round tripper of the season, to propel the Hillies (6-4) to the dramatic non-league victory. Tucker Grant scored three runs from the lead-off spot and Jeremy Aquino added two hits and drove in two runs.
North Andover 4, Lowell 2
Dom Pefine went six innings, giving up two earned runs on five hits, walking two and striking out five. Dylan Lawrence tossed a scoreless seventh inning. Offensively, Lawrence and Troy Takesian had two hits each and combined to drive in three, while Colin Howard roped an RBI single off the bench.
Chelmsford 11, Andover 9
The Golden Warriors had the bases loaded with two outs in the seventh, and Chelmsford’s Finn Ramseyer came out of the bullpen and nailed the game shut when he picked off the runner at second base.
Methuen 8, Dracut 6
The Rangers picked up their first win of the season behind five strong relief innings from Joey Tavares, who struck out six and gave up one run to earn the win. He was helped out by teammates Nolan Smith (3 for 4, 2 runs) and Alex Santiago (2 for 4, run, RBI double), while, Jeyvien DeLeon had a pair of RBIs.
Whittier Tech 10, Greater Lawrence 1
Logann Hatin went the first 4.1 innings on the mound giving up one earned run while striking out four to earn the win. He added a double and two RBIs. Will King finished 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles, while Keegan Koch stole four bases.
Bedford 6, Salem 4
Dom Toscano led the offense with two singles and a double with an RBI. Aaron Masson had two hits. Elias Mercedes and Patrick Ross each had a double and a RBI. Masson struck out eight in the loss.
Pelham 5, Coe-Brown 1
The 6-2 Pythons got a 12-strikeout complete game Henry Paquette.
Pinkerton 11, Trinity 1
Leo Boucher went five innings, giving up one earned run on three hits, striking out four for the win. Elijah Sharp was 3 for 4 with a double and a RBI, Jackson Marshall homered and scored three runs.
Merrimack 14, Timberlane 3
Mikey Santosuosso went 2 for 3, and Shaun Ingram had his first varsity hit for the Owls.

Windham 10, Alvirne 5
Josh Trudel led the way with six goals, while Nate Crowley added two and Ryan Parke had a goal and two assists. Goalie Casey Kramer made eight saves.
Central Catholic 7, Chelmsford 5
Ryan Tighe had the hot stick scoring three goals and adding three assists. Chase Akstin added two goals. Joe Buchanan won 13 faceoffs, Adam Godfrey picked up five groundballs and goalie Jake Lydon had ten saves.
Central Catholic 13, Malden Catholic 1
On Monday, the Raiders dominated from the get-go and were led by Luke Faletra, who netted four goals. Chase Akstin added three goals, Mason Bachry had two.

Goalie Mikey Moschitto made eight saves, while, Desi Csizmadia was 11 for 12 on face-off draws for the Jared Cripps had two goals, while, Owen Howell, Sean Morris, Joey Casarano and Quinn Vuylsteke had one each. Howell also added a pair of assists.
Pinkerton Academy 15, Merrimack 2
The Astros improved to 4-5 behind strong offensive performances from Matt Gormady (4 goals), Cole Summers (3 goals, 2 assists), Ricky Wong and Kyle Ushkevich (2 goals each).

Pinkerton Academy 22, Merrimack 10
Hailey Schnider broke a school record scoring 11 goals in one game to lead the Astros to the convincing victory. Junior Hannah Lisauskas added three goals and five assists and Piper Knowlton finished with three goals and two assists.
North Andover 14, Lexington 5
Both Janie Papell and Isa Robinson each had five goals and two assists in the win. Sam Melville was rock-solid in net, making 13 saves, while Wood had five draw controls.
Pelham 16, Concord Christian 4
Ella Desimone (6 goals) and Kate Burke (4 goals, 4 assists) powered the offense for 5-1 Pelham. Sophia Joncas and Katherine Carroll had two goals each.
Windham 15, Timberlane 7
Jaidyn Seitzer made eight Windham saves to earn the win. Sophia Ponzini and Chloe Hall each paced the winners’ offense with five goals and an assist.

Playing well in the losing effort included Kate Fitzpatrick (4 goals) and Brooke Carter (2 goals).

Essex Tech 3, Central Catholic 2
Central (5-4) was led by Deryl Atem with 17 kills and 8 blocks, Michael Najjar, who had 32 assists, Jaithian Medina, who had 21 digs and Aidan Herries, who finished with 20 service points including four aces.
Greater Lawrence 3, Greater Lowell 0
The Reggies (6-4) made quick work of the Gryphons behind six service points and 11 assists from Anthony Rubim and five kills by Keegan Doherty.

Playing well in the losing effort were David Castillo with eight kills and an ace, and Nilson Perez with 15 assists, two blocks and two digs.

Ben Breen finished with six kills and one dig, while, Andrew Begley had eight assists and 10 service points, including nine aces. Jack Begley had a pair of blocks and Cian Adamchek also had 10 service points.
Pinkerton Academy 3, Dover 2
The Astros came up huge late, winning, 15-13, in the fifth. Junior Libero Grant Lopshire led the defensive effort with 10 digs. Ben Koelb dished out 17 assists and outside hitter Kayden Layne had 16 kills and 10 digs.
North Andover 3, Andover 2
The Scarlet Knights came away with the five-set victory (22-25, 25-20, 26-24, 15-25 and 15-13).
For North Andover (5-5), Gyan Mistry finished with 13 kills and Ben Metsch had 12 to go along with his five blocks. Carson Wong was immense as the setter with 34 assists and Prady Mistry added 20 digs on the defensive end.
Playing well for the Golden Warriors (9-3) included Noah Chanthaboun (12 kills, 3 blocks, 2 service points), Marco Gomez Cabo (41 assists, 11 service points), Zach Medjamia (33 digs, 10 kills), Carter Yee (4 blocks) and Tristan Berry (3 aces).

Winning their singles matches were Jack Makiej, Ryan Melesky and James Diamantis. In doubles, the teams of Owen Bergeron-Alex Colombosian and Jason Morris-Ashwin Narayanan finished the shutout.
Andover 5, Methuen 0
Nik Narina, Akarsh Janarthanan and Kian Keyhan all won in singles. Peter Doan-Matthew Wang and Cameron Nutter-Aaryan Deshwal posted shutout wins in doubles.

Played on Tuesday, the Golden Warriors swept the Raiders behind victories from Janarthanan, Conor Rea and Hridai Dharan in the singles matches, and then Doan and Sam Gomer and Owen Finlay and Deshwal in the doubles matches.
Windham 8, Kennett 1
Windham, 5-0, got singles wins from Tim Wang, Gilbert Feke, Dylan Wu, Shayan Biswas, Ben Carullo and Russell Adler. Wang and Feke were winners at first doubles to remain unbeaten.
Windham 5, Hollis-Brookline 4
On Tuesday, the Jaguars came away with another win led by Wang, Carullo and Adler, who won their singles matches, as did the doubles teams of Wang and Feke and Wu and Biswas.
Londonderry 8, Salem 1
Junior Max Condon trailed 3-1 before rallying off seven straight games to win 8-3. His strong serve proved to be too much. The doubles duo of Dylan Coyle and Matthew Harding battled hard to erase an early two-game deficit before falling in the tiebreak.

North Andover 5, Billerica 0
Tika Roy, Sophia Yee and Jocelyn Jankowski swept the singles matches, while Callie Dias-Kendall Wolfe and Palomi Nihalani-Maddie Allen were the doubles winners.
Central Catholic 5, Notre Dame 0
Kayleigh Furbush won at first singles and that was followed by wins by Meg Washburn and Kaya Asmar for 4-1 Central. The teams of Ella Gregorio-Morgan Bateman and Alessandra Sacchetti-Melina Panagiotakopoulos dominated doubles.
Andover 4, Methuen 1
Andover’s Sonika Chaudhary and Mia Thomas won in singles, while Methuen’s Liv Lawrence pulled through at No. 3 in a three-set war. Elisia Yu-Caitlin Croll won in straight sets and Valerie Chu joined Celeste Minor to close out the victory also in straight sets.
Andover 5, Haverhill 0
On Tuesday, Andover improved to 6-1. The team’s three singles players Chaudhary, Thomas and Hila Berman all won their matches by 6-0 scores, while the doubles teams of Yu and Chu, and Anyaa Munot and Miner also took home their matches in straight sets.

Winners included Mallory Amirian, Meredith Amirian and Abby Burrill in the singles, and Abby Browning-Olivia Dickert and Boston Alvino-Emily Dicker in doubles for 3-3 Haverhill.

The Pythons (2-2) received wins from Jessica Bevens, Kathryn Haley and Olivia Squillante as well as the doubles teams of Bevens/Haley and Rosie Day and Squillante.

On Tuesday, the Pythons made quick work of their opponents as Bevens, Haley, Day, Sarah Bellahrossi and Squillante won their singles matches (other won by default) and then Bevens and Haley matched up to win their match as did Day and Squillante.

Coming away with wins for the Astros (3-5) included Amelia Coyle, Mia Rivard and Gabby Chouinard.

Mia Contarino, Molly Mosto, Chelsey Blanchette, Jovanna Flaherty and Madison Harding scored wins in singles. Contarino and Mosto took first doubles, while the teams of Blanchette-Sidney Mikhael and Flaherty-Amelia Cikacz also prevailed for the 2-3 Blue Devils.
