Editor’s note: The following information is compiled from public records taken from reports from local law enforcement agencies.
• A 25-year-old Dalton man was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, possession of a schedule 1 drug, possession and use of drug-related objects, misdemeanor willful obstruction of law officers and felony tampering with evidence.
• A 31-year-old Cohutta man was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession and use of drug-related objects, misdemeanor willful obstruction of law officers, crossing a guard line with a weapon without consent and felony tampering with evidence.
• A 47-year-old Dalton man was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession and use of drug-related objects and maintaining a disorderly house.
• A 37-year-old Goodlettsville, Tennessee, woman was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving, speeding, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and driving on a divided highway, controlled access road or emergency lane.
• A 53-year-old Tunnel Hill man was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth.
• A 54-year-old Tunnel Hill man was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession and use of drug-related objects and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• A 36-year-old Tunnel Hill man was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of a schedule 4 drug and possession and use of drug-related objects.
• A 31-year-old Tunnel Hill man was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth.
• A 39-year-old Ellijay man was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession and use of drug-related objects and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
• A 27-year-old Cape Girardeau, Missouri, man was charged Wednesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and speeding.
