Editor’s note: The following information is compiled from public records taken from reports from local law enforcement agencies.
• A 52-year-old Dalton man was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with simple battery, possession and use of drug-related objects and disorderly conduct.
• A 34-year-old Dalton man was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with false imprisonment, battery (family violence) and obstructing an emergency call.
• A 40-year-old Rossville woman was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with cruelty to children (third or subsequent offense) and battery (family violence).
• A 51-year-old Dalton woman was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute and possession and use of drug-related objects.
• A 26-year-old Dalton woman was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.
• A 19-year-old Chatsworth man was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with improper lane change/failure to maintain lane, expired license plate, driving without a valid license, fraudulent driver’s license or identification card/false statements in application, defective tires, striking a fixed object, hit and run and DUI.
• A 36-year-old Chatsworth man was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, when lighted headlights and other lights required violation and running a red light.
• A 35-year-old Dalton man was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked license and failure to maintain lane.
