Editor’s note: The following information is compiled from public records taken from reports from local law enforcement agencies.
• An 18-year-old Dalton man was charged Thursday by the Chatsworth Police Department with contraband across guard lines, possession of cocaine, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
• A 32-year-old Dallas man was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with home invasion, battery/simple battery (family violence), third-degree cruelty to children, first-degree cruelty to children, aggravated assault (family violence), aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
• A 37-year-old Rocky Face man was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with fugitive from justice (Hamilton County, Tennessee).
• A 21-year-old Dalton man was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with misdemeanor fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer, DUI, open container violation, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain lane/driving on the wrong side of the road, improper passing on the left, reckless driving and unlawful use of a central lane.
• A 39-year-old Dalton man was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, speeding and reckless driving.
• A 25-year-old Dalton man was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, open container violation and restricted licenses violation.
• A 31-year-old Dalton man was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, driving without a valid license, hit and run and following too closely.
• A 41-year-old Cohutta man was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of a schedule 1/2 drug.
• A 24-year-old Dalton man was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI (drugs) and when lighted headlights and other lights required.
• A 60-year-old Chatsworth man was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation, possession of meth, possession and use of drug-related objects, misdemeanor willful obstruction of law officers, taillights violation and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
• A 31-year-old Dalton woman was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with simple battery against law enforcement personnel, criminal trespass (damage of $500 or less), disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, obstruction of an officer by threat/violence and misdemeanor willful obstruction of law officers.
• A 29-year-old Tunnel Hill man was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked license and failure to maintain lane.
• A 19-year-old Dalton man was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with three counts of second-degree forgery, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor willful obstruction of law officers.
• An 18-year-old Dalton man was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, possession and use of drug-related objects, loitering/prowling, misdemeanor probation violation, felony tampering with evidence, giving false information to a law officer and misdemeanor willful obstruction of law officers.
