LAWRENCE — Friends, family, and faculty gathered to watch 679 students graduate from Lawrence High School Friday evening.
The ceremony at Veterans Memorial Stadium began at 6 p.m. led by Head of School and Master of Ceremonies Victor Caraballo-Anderson.
Speeches were then given by keynote speaker Mayor Brian A. DePeña as well as Angel Salcé Noble and Nikki Ho, valedictorians of the Upper School Academy and Abbott Lawrence Academy, respectively.
Awards were given out by LHS principals before the awarding of diplomas and certificates.
The event was also livestreamed on Youtube for those who could not attend in person.
