COVINGTON, Ind. — The Covington girls basketball team hung tough, but could not get a home win on Thursday in a 53-44 defeat to North Montgomery.
Lilly Hacquet had 11 points to lead the Trojans, who was tied 23-23 at halftime with North Montgomery and was only down 37-35 going into the fourth quarter. Alex Sutherlin and Emma Holycross each had eight points, Halen McBride had seven and Sydni Crain and Karma Kingery each had four points.
The Trojans will play Lafayette McCutcheon on Dec. 9.
