PARIS — The Danville girls basketball team started the season with a 53-26 loss to Paris in the North American Lighting Girls Basketball Tournament.
Jada Bell had 14 points to lead the Vikings, while Ashanti Conaway had seven points and Amara McFarland had three points.
The Vikings will continue play in the tournament on Tuesday against Champaign Central.
