MOULTRIE — The 45th Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition came to a close on Thursday, with another successful event, said executive director Chip Blalock.
“God blessed us with good Chamber of Commerce weather all week long. We had good crowds, great exhibitors. It’s been a good week,” he said.
More than 1,100 exhibitors, encompassing 93 acres of exhibit area, showcased new innovations in farm technology, representing more than 4,000 different product lines over the three-day event.
Highlights from the event included Steve Cobb of Arkansas being named the 2023 Sunbelt Ag Expo Southeastern Farmer of the Year, American Farm Bureau President, Zippy Duvall defending his Champion title in the cow milking contest, a cooking demonstration by Moultrie native and culinary expert Ivy Odom, and the new Antique Tractor Pull debuting this year.
