Create sailor’s valentines at the Custom House

NEWBURYPORT — Children ages 4-9, accompanied by parents or guardians, are invited to join Custom House Maritime Museum teachers on Thursday, Feb. 20, and Friday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon, to make their own personal sailor’s valentines. Children will do some “beach-combing” activities in the museum with local seashells and then make their own sailor’s valentines to take home. Registration not required. Admission to the museum is free. The museum is located at 25 Water St., Newburyport.
