DANVERS — Northeast Arc, a not-for-profit organization that helps children and adults with disabilities and autism become full participants in the community, has named Jeanne Russo as its next Chief Operating Officer (COO). Russo started on Jan. 6.
The Andover resident brings several decades of experience to her role at Northeast Arc. She spent the last 20 years at Vinfen Corporation, most recently as its COO. Prior to her work at Vinfen, Russo worked at North Suffolk Community Services and at the Department of Developmental Services.
“I am excited to welcome Jeanne to Northeast Arc and look forward to the contributions she will make to our organization,” said Jo Ann Simons, president and CEO of Northeast Arc. “Jeanne’s vast experience with both the state and provider organizations, make her the perfect person to manage operations at an organization as complex as ours. She will play an integral role in ensuring that Northeast Arc remains the most effective human services organization in our region.”
As Northeast Arc’s chief operating officer, Russo will coordinate all programs and services in support of the agency’s mission, with a focus on continuous improvement of operational efficiencies and systems, according to officials.
