Roane State’s Cumberland Business Incubator hosted an open house last month for college faculty, staff, students, and members of the community to explore the business incubator and its Maker Space, learn about class offerings, and see special equipment up close, including 3D printers.
The Business Incubator provides a variety of services to help entrepreneurs and small businesses grow and prosper. Workshops are held regularly, and office space and support are available for start-up businesses.
A special build your own 3-D printer class begins Wednesday, Jan. 8. The cost is $300 per printer and includes everything needed to build a 3-D printer.
The Business Incubator is at 2569 Cook Road in Crossville, next door to Roane State Community College’s Cumberland County Campus.
