PONTIAC — The Danville boys basketball team was able to keep fighting to the end on Saturday.
Down 17-9 in the first quarter against Oak Park, the Vikings fought from there to only lose 65-62 in the Consolation Championship of the Pontiac Holiday Tournament.
JaVaughn Robinson had 22 points and seven rebounds for Danville, while Jerry Reed III had 14 points and five rebounds, C.L. Dye had 10 points and two assists, Tayvion Diltz had five points and Ajani Davis added four points.
