The following CCHS organizations represented Cumberland County Schools at the CCHS Chick-Fil-A event: FFA, Future Business Leaders of America, Beta and Health Occupations Students of America.
Mr. Atkinson, Ms. Lea, Mrs. Gilpin, Mrs. Pratt and Mrs. Smith participated by helping with making the signs and donation boxes.
“We had a great turnout, the kids had a great time and the love we got from the community was amazing,” said Aaron Daenell, the Career and College Technical Education for Marketing and Management, Computer Science, the Fishing Team Coach and a tnAchieves Mentor for Future Business Leaders of America. “Each of our clubs has the ability to do great things on their own, but when we join forces, nothing can stop us.”
Daenell invites Cumberland County residents to donate to the Beyond The Flood project to help with hurricane relief in east Tennessee. Daenell also shared that Angel Tree tags are hanging in the office mail room and they are accepting new toy donations for all ages as well as new clothing and cold weather gear until Dec. 19.
