WATSEKA — The Hoopeston Area boys basketball team got on the board in the Watseka Holiday Tournament with a 72-54 win over Donovan on Friday.
Nick Cardenas had 23 points with five assists and four rebounds for the Cornjerkers, while Zach Huchel had 15 points with four rebounds and two steals, Cole Miller had seven points with 10 rebounds and Alandize Barnett had seven points.
The Cornjerkers will continue play in the tournament.
