Boxford native Chris Kreider was one of 25 players chosen to represent Team USA at the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament in February.
The 33-year-old Kreider, a left wing who has 10 goals for the New York Rangers this season — and 314 total in his 13-year NHL career — will be playing for his country for the first time since the 2019 IIHF World Championships.
The 4 Nations Face-Off, an international tournament featuring teams from Canada, Sweden and Finland as well as the U.S., will take place Feb. 12-20 at Bell Centre in Montreal and TD Garden in Boston. The games in Boston will be held Monday, Feb. 17 (semifinals) and Thursday, Feb. 20 (championship).
