The Town of Niagara kicked off the 2024 holiday season with its Noel at Niagara Light up the Park event at the Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday evening.
Santa along with the Buffalo Sabres’ Sabretooth arrived on a horse and carriage with an escort by the Town of Niagara Police Department and the Niagara Falls High School Marching Band.
Santa and Sabretooth were then joined by town officials to countdown and flip the switch to light up the holiday displays along the park.
Activities, such as horse and carriage rides, visits with Santa, glow in the dark mini golf, and arts and crafts followed the lighting ceremony.
Now through Jan. 5, the park will be open and free to the public each night from 5 to 9 p.m. to take a ride or stroll through the park to see the illuminated displays.
