“At Exeter Hospital, we are dedicated to fostering a culture where patient well-being is at the heart of everything we do,” said President Debra Cresta. “This ‘A’ grade affirms our efforts to uphold the highest standard of patient care for our patients and community.”

USS Kennedy celebrated
BOSTON – United States Fleet Forces Command, in partnership with the Navy League, hosted an event in Boston at the Exchange Event and Conference Center on Friday to celebrate the construction of the U.S. Navy’s newest aircraft carrier, John F. Kennedy, named after the 35th president and one of the nation’s most revered and beloved Bostonians.
At 1,092 feet in length and 100,000 tons, the John F. Kennedy is the second Ford-class aircraft carrier and represents dramatic advances in propulsion, power generation, ordnance handling, and aircraft launch systems enabling them to launch 25% more sorties than their predecessors.
The original USS John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier served the fleet for over 50 years before decommissioning in 2007. The new ship is expected to join the U.S. Navy by 2025, and once operational, will join the Pacific Fleet to support the Navy’s missions in the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
“In a reemerging era of great power competition, Kennedy will outshine, out-maneuver, and overall, out-perform all other carriers, making her an integral asset to the world’s most dominant Navy,” said Adm. Daryl Caudle, Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command.
By partnering with the Navy League for this event, the Navy continues to build upon its bonds with civilian counterparts to ensure that its traditions do not begin and end with its service members.
The Navy League is a nonprofit civilian, educational and advocacy organization that supports America’s sea services: the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine.
