Get a jump on holiday and winter decorations for the porch or table with the Fairfield Glade Garden Club during its upcoming meeting.
Garden Club member Kathy Knapp, who holds degrees in horticulture and floral design, will discuss foraging plant material from nature to use in arrangements. Concentrating on evergreens for a porch pot or swag, she will also offer tips on enhancing purchased arrangements.
The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 20 at Fairfield Glade Community Church, 521 Snead Dr. Members and visitors are welcome to arrive at 9 for pre-meeting refreshments. The featured program will follow the business meeting.
