Senior captain Thomas Kotas has exploded this season with 18 goals and four assists. Head coach Ryan DiBenedetto said that the four-year varsity player has used his experience to raise his play to another level whether it’s finishing, aerial ability, his improved speed and strength, as well as his leadership skills.
Kotas had two goals in the team’s 5-1 win on Tuesday which gave the Reggies their first league title in program history.
“From my freshman year to senior we have made amazing improvements under Coach DiBenedetto,” said Kotas. “Finally everything has fallen together and became synchronized. Our chemistry from the freshmen to seniors has brought the best out of us. And I feel like I’m a part of something special with this team. This environment has truly brought the most out of me and my skills.”
