COVINGTON, Ind. — The Covington volleyball team battled with South Newton on Tuesday, but the Trojans lost 25-22, 25-19, 21-25, 19-25, 15-8 to the Rebels.
Ashlyn Alexander had eight kills, 18 digs and seven aces for the Trojans, while Alex Sutherlin had 10 kills and 12 digs, Caydence Peaslee and Brooke Rottman each had seven kills and four blocks and Peyton Brown had 33 assists and 12 digs.
Covington is 17-8 and will play in the Bi-County Tournament on Saturday.
