PREP BOYS SOCCER: OSF defeats Watseka

WATSEKA — The Oakwood/Salt Fork boys soccer team was actually down early to Watseka/Milford 1-0, but the Comets would score four goals after that for a 4-1 halftime lead and would go on to a 5-2 win on Tuesday.
Ethan Merritt and Pedro Rangel IV each had two goals and an assist for the Comets, while Macen Phillips had a goal and an assist.
Jakob Rupp had seven saves in goal for OSF, who is 14-2 and 8-0 in the Vermilion Valley Conference.
