The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that killed a Florida man at Lake and Carmen roads in Somerset.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the accident about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The 77-year-old man driving the GMC, Earl H. Foster of Wilson, was taken to Lockport Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The 78-year-old man driving the Nissan, Louis A. Greenwald of Lake Wales, Florida, was flown to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight where he later died of his injuries.
