Lockport’s new Jersey Mike’s Subs will officially open its doors at 5746 S. Transit Road on Wednesday.
Franchise owner Evan Mayer will hold a grand opening and fundraiser through Sunday to support Make-A-Wish of Western New York. Customers who receive a special fundraising coupon distributed through a grassroots effort prior to the opening can make a minimum $3 contribution to Make-A-Wish of Western New York in exchange for a regular sub. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.
The county’s first Jersey Mike’s opened on Military Road in Niagara Falls in May. The two sites are the eighth and ninth Jersey Mike’s locations in Western New York; the other seven are in Erie County.
“I moved up to New York in the middle of May this year, and we were able to open our store in Niagara Falls successfully. I am very excited to do the same and build our newest community in Lockport,” General Manager Adam Ransom, said. “For this location, we are partnering with Make-A -Wish of Western New York, and I could not be happier to do so. This organization has a special place for me, as I have worked with in the past, and it always feels good to help those in need just by making our awesome subs! I am anxiously waiting for (Wednesday) to start our next chapter and help bring business and another awesome product to this area. We are a Sub Above!”
The franchise owner, Evan Mayer, also owns locations in Erie County, Batavia and Rochester, as well as some in New Jersey.
Guests can place orders in-store or for pickup through the website or through the Jersey Mike’s app. Additionally, delivery is available in most areas through the Jersey Mike’s app or through third-party delivery partners. Curbside pickup is available for orders placed in Jersey Mike’s app.
