The Artisan Table and Market returns to downtown Danville on Sept. 6, from 5-8 p.m.
The event features live poetry readings from local writers and poets as attendees shop for handcrafted items at The Artisan Market at Temple Plaza. There will also be a Farm to Table dinner outside on North Street beginning at 5:15 p.m. Tickets for the dinner must be purchased in advance. Tickets are $30 each.

Dinner is being prepared by Berzerker’s Grill and Catering and Mimi’s Kitchen and Catering.
Appetizers will be served at 5:15 p.m. and include Herb Crusted Goat Cheese with a Pretzel Skewers, Watermelon with Basil Cucumber Feta Salad Cups, and Gorgonzola Bacon Wrapped Dates with Bourbon Sauce.
An entree of Beef Wellington, tender beef tenderloin wrapped in a golden, flaky puff pastry crust, will be served at 5:45 p.m. Sides include golden, crispy roasted potatoes, seasoned with a blend of savory herbs and a touch of garlic, alongside, roasted broccoli florets lightly caramelized.
Kayla’s Chic Treats will provide Mini Cake Trifles and Cupcakes Filled with Apple Pie Filling, Salted Caramel, and Brown Butter Buttercream for dessert.
A vegetarian option of Eggplant Lasagna is also available.
