NORTH MANKATO — Residents can get an update on the Judson Bottom Road and Lookout Drive during a special City Council work session at 6 p.m. Monday.
The Bottom Road has been closed since early July after heavy rains caused mudslides and boulders to cover several spots on the road. The slides came from the bluff next to Lookout Drive.
People will hear a summary of staff’s research and potential action items regarding the long-term stability of the two roads. Residents will be able to ask questions and provide input on the future of Judson Bottom Road and Lookout Drive.
The meeting will be at the North Mankato Municipal Building Council Chambers. A virtual option to participate will also be offered, the Zoom link will be available on Monday on the city’s website at northmankato.com.
For those unable to attend the presentation, a survey will be made available on the website beginning Tuesday.
Questions may be directed to Public Works Director Luke Arnold at larnold@northmankato.com or 507-345-5570.
