GEORGETOWN — New England-based singer-songwriter Peryle will be performing on the Georgetown Peabody Library lawn on Wednesday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m. Peryle recently dropped her first album, eight. Her music is a blend of indie-pop and folk. Her songs are often personal and introspective, and she writes about many topics, including love, loss, and self-discovery.
A week later, Clandestine Jazz Collective will be performing on the library lawn on Wednesday, July 31 at 6:30 p.m.
Clandestine Jazz Collective is a group from the N.H. seacoast region comprised of saxophonist Andrew Emanuel, guitarist Keith Perry, bassist Mikey Lathwood, and drummer Chris Salemme. The group plays a healthy mix of jazz standards and instrumental covers of popular tunes, all with a great emphasis on improvisation and group interaction.
Concerts will take place outside on the library lawn. If the weather does not cooperate, the concert will be inside in the library’s meeting room. Check out the lineup for the library’s summer concert series here: georgetownpl.org/summer-concerts-at-the-library-2024/
The concert series is sponsored by the Friends of the Georgetown Peabody Library. The library is located at 2 Maple St., Georgetown.
