CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Jacob Glen Vance, 34, of Petersburg was sentenced to more than four years in federal prison for possession of a machine gun and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
According to court documents and statements made in court, as a part of another investigation, West Virginia State Police searched Vance’s home and storage unit, finding several firearms, including an unregistered machine gun, methamphetamines and cash.
Vance will report for three years’ of supervised release following his 57-month sentence.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the West Virginia State Police investigated.
