Lewiston holding public meeting for police contract

The Town and Village of Lewiston will hold a joint public meeting to discuss a new contract with the Lewiston Police Department.
It will take place 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Red Brick Building at 145 N. 4th St. While members of the public can attend, it is not a public hearing.
It is not known if any decisions will be made at this meeting. The police department’s contract has reportedly not been updated since 1995.
