ANDOVER — Dozens gathered in Shawsheen Square on Monday evening to rally on the second anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision.
The landmark ruling overturned the constitutional right to abortion, leading to an uproar across the nation.
The rally, hosted by Greater Andover Indivisible and the North Andover Democratic Committee, focused on the concept that “abortion is just the tip of the iceberg,” according to a flyer for the event.
Participants held signs to draw attention to a variety of social issues, including reproductive rights.
The rally was one of many held in communities across the state, including Billerica and Quincy.
