The Whitfield County Board of Assessors has mailed out annual property assessment notices to nearly 46,000 real estate parcel and personal property accounts. Taxpayers should expect to receive their assessment notices in the mail throughout the coming week.
Taxpayers wishing to appeal their assessment have the option to do so online by visiting the appeals page at www.whitfieldassessor.com/appeals. Alternatively, appeals can be filed in person at the Tax Assessor’s office located at 201 S. Hamilton Street on the third floor. The public parking deck is currently closed for maintenance. Please utilize nearby on-street parking to file your appeal in person.
