Run For Cover debuts a collaboration with Sax on the Plateau for the We Are One concert on June 29 at 7 p.m.
The nonprofit organization We Are One is hosting a concert to raise funds to buy back-to-school supplies for 7,100 students in Cumberland County.
Run For Cover will also have an emcee for the concert night. Cheyenne Emery, the reigning Fairest of the Fair for Cumberland County, will be the emcee.
Run For Cover will play ’50s, ’60s and ’70s music at the concert. Sax on the Plateau will offer a selection of jazz.
Sax on the Plateau has four saxophone players: Bill Kerr, Bryan Cumming, Phil Ciancio and Rick Thomas.
Run For Cover has five band members: Roger Shea, Karl Seidl, Demi Pilot, Larry Jones and Bob White.
Every participant of this concert is donating their time and talents. Neither band playing will receive any portion of the funds raised. All the money raised will go directly to purchasing the school supplies for the kids.
The concert doors will open at 6 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7. The concert will be at the Palace Theatre at 72 S. Main St. in Crossville.
The tickets for the concert are $25 upstairs on the balcony and $30 downstairs on the main floor. Purchase tickets online at https://ci.ovationtix.com/36136/production/1198543 and in person at The Palace Theatre.
