STAMFORD — Friends of Music of Stamford will continue its 2024 season of world-class chamber music with a return performance by Pegasus: The Orchestra, at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 16.
According to a media release, the concert, conducted by artistic director Karén Hakobyan from the harpsichord, will feature nine members in various configurations and solos by Eiko Kano (violin), Shelby, Yamin (violin), and Kaori Fujii, flute.
The program reportedly focuses on some of the most innovative Baroque masterpieces, including Vivaldi’s Trio Sonata in D Major, Bach’s Sonata in G Major, and Bach’s Brandenburg Concerti No. 4 and No. 5
The event will take place at Friends of Music host site, the First Presbyterian Church at 96 Main St. in Stamford.
Admission will be by donation at the door with a suggested amount of $15 per person, $10 for seniors and students. There is no charge for those younger than 13. Donations should be in the form of cash or checks.
