CUMBERLAND — A city man is awaiting trial after he ransacked a Baltimore Street residence Tuesday and broke a window to steal electrical power with an extension cord stretched to an adjacent abandoned property, according to Cumberland Police.
Tracy Kerry Williams, 38, was arrested on first- and fourth-degree burglary charges, two counts of destruction of property and theft less than $100.
Following a bond hearing, Williams was granted pre-trial release after posting $5,000 bond.
Officers responded to the 200 block of Baltimore Street after the victim returned home and found his home damaged and ransacked, police said.
