WESTPORT — Schroon Lake has been co-champions in the past in Mountain & Valley Athletic Conference golf.
The Wildcats, however, took it a step further on Friday.
Ronan DesLauriers (46), Owen Gillings (49), Justice Hurtado and A.J. Masiello won their matches for the Wildcats in a 4-2 win rival over Boquet Valley and the MVAC title outright.
The Griffins took second in the league, with both their losses coming this season to Schroon Lake.
DesLauriers’ 46 was the low round of the day for the Wildcats.
Boquet Valley’s two wins came from Braden Liberi and Bryce Liberi. Braden Liberi was medalist in the match with a two-over par 38 and brother Bryce carded a 50 to emerge with a victory.

CROWN POINT — Rocket Van Campen carded a 48 to lead the Beavers to their victory.
Brayden Harmer also had a 48 for Keene, but lost his No. 1 match to the Panthers’ Jared Kimball, who was medalist on the day with a 44.
Pablo Lopez (52), Cooper Gagnon (52) and Henry Crowl also won their matches for Keene.
Kimball and Aiden Ryan picked up the Crown Point wins.

PERU — Nick Palmer fired a two-under par 34 to power the Nighthawks to a win over the Red Storm.
Cooper Sweeney added a 37 for the Nighthawks, while Patrick Clark (41), Liam Clark (44) and Frankie Trudeau (45) added wins for Peru.
Ryan McGinnis-Theis carded the low round of the day for the Red Storm with a 41 and Johan Peckham (44) won the lone match for Saranac Lake.

The Sentinels’ Noah Wells was medalist on the day with a two-over par 38 and picked up a win for Ticonderoga along with Robert O’Neal.
