Update: Mankato public safety finds missing teen

MANKATO — Mankato Public Safety has found a teen previously reported missing.
Sanyla Stacey Alexia Smiley has been located and is safe, according to a Facebook post by the City of Mankato.
Smiley, a 13-year-old female who goes by “Nyla,” was reported as a runaway by her family on Friday after not returning home after school, according to a news release from the city of Mankato.
