PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh State baseball team got the early jump on the City College of New York in both games Saturday on the way to a 9-2 and 10-2 doubleheader sweep.
The Cardinals (5-3), however, couldn’t get the clutch hit when needed Sunday in a 2-0 setback at Farmingdale State.
Plattsburgh, after playing its first three games on an eight-day, 11-game road trip over the weekend, played at Penn State Berks yesterday.
