Central Catholic 62, Weymouth 55Apparently, the Raiders wanted another matchup with Lawrence High. No. 10 Central sprinted out of the gate on a 14-2 first-quarter flurry and just kept rolling to the win over Weymouth. John Kelley and Javi Lopez each netted 22 points to power the Raider attack.

The No. 6 Raiders took care of business, against 27th seeded King Philip in the opening game Thursday night at Memorial Gym.
Aniela Kwo led the winners with 22 points and nine rebounds, while Kerri Finneran delivered 11 points.
Abby Yfantopulos and Abbey Dick combined to haul in 13 rebounds, and Addison Beers dished out six assists.
Andover 45, Franklin 43Down nine points at halftime and after three quarters, Andover simply refused to lose.
“Ella Vidoni played like she didn’t want her career to end,” said coach Alan Hibino. “Both Vidoni (20 points) and Arissa Dorelas (13) carried us in the fourth quarter.”
Andover outscored the visitors, 14-3, in the fourth quarter to pull it out. Still, a Franklin three inside the final minute put Andover down one point.
Inside the final 30 seconds, Vidoni put the Warriors up 44-43, and Andover survived.
Next up in the round of 16 is Woburn, the No. 4 seed.
