Atkinson/Kimball Public Library: Kimball Library has an assortment of newspapers that they encourage you to come inside to read. They are not available for loan but they have a lovely reading area to relax in while you read the Boston Globe, Manchester Union Leader, and the Eagle Tribune. Brentwood/Mary E. Bartlett Library: Join Town Moderator, Dick Chamberlain at Candidates Night on Thursday, Feb. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. Come meet the candidates running in the March 2024 Brentwood School and Town Elections. The forum will begin with individual presentations from the candidates, followed by a Q&A session.
Danville/Colby Library: A Knitting and Handcrafting Hour is offered every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Stop in to chat, share ideas and projects at the next gathering on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
East Kingston Library: Ages 7+ are invited to a special STEAM event on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. Participants will be introduced to computer science principals with screenless and app-enabled coding options. Space is limited; sign up by calling 603-642-8333 or email ekpublib@comcast.net.
Epping/Harvey-Mitchell Memorial Library: For your listening pleasure! Don’t miss the Folk Concert with Pat O’Brien of Blue Folk Group on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 2-3:30 p.m. The snow date is Sunday, Feb. 18.

Hampstead Public Library: Celebrate the Leap Year! Take the kids on a Leap Day Frog Scavenger Hunt! Pick up a worksheet in the children’s area and find the leap frogs and solve a puzzle to win a prize! The scavenger hunt will be available from Feb. 15-28
Kensington Public Library: Mark your calendar for a presentation on Backyard Birdscaping with Steve Hale on Wednesday, Feb. 21 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. This presentation reviews various feeder types, food types, and the importance of natural live and dead cover for birds. Diversifying your backyard with food, cover and water will have the birds in your yard … and not your neighbor’s yard.
Kingston Community Library: Blind Date with a Book: From February 1-14: Take a gift-wrapped book for your date. Read the brief description and choose your favorite. The book is yours to keep!
Newton/Gale Library: Yarn Group meets every Friday at 1 p.m. Bring your latest knitting, crochet, or other yarn-based project and work on it in the company of other crafters. Don’t know how to knit or crochet? They have members who are happy to teach you!
