N.H. football All-Stars
The rosters have been announced for the annual New Hampshire-Vermont Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl All-Star Game, and a trio of local athletes have been picked.
Looking to lead the offensive will be Pinkerton quarterback Tim Hersom. He’s coming off a senior season where he threw for 421 yards and five touchdowns, ran for six more scores and lead the Astros to a 10-1 record and a trip to the Division I semifinals.
Windham will be well represented, with wide receiver/defensive back/kick returner Dylan Roy and kicker/punter Seamus Rossi picked for the game — which will be held on Aug. 3 at Vermont State University’s Castleton Campus.
Titus to Stonehill
Central Catholic Eagle-Tribune All-Star offensive/defensive lineman Presley Titus is officially headed to play football at Stonehill, the Skyhawks announced on “X,” the platform formally known as Twitter.
Titus is coming off a senior season where he made 45 tackles, six for loss, 5.5 sacks and an interception.
“Presley was a very productive player over his career for a great program in Mass.,” said Stonehill coach Eli Gardner in the announcement. “He has a great frame and will develop very well within our scheme.”

Captains Corner
The high school sports winter season is nearing its close, and we at The Eagle-Tribune still want to honor the area’s high school captains as part of our Captains Corner series. Coaches — or parents or the athletes themselves — who would like their captains featured are welcome to submit a photo to dwillis@eagletribune.com. Photos should have all captains featured and ideally in uniform.
One Final Thought
