The harsh winter temperatures are continuing for a little longer.
The Vermilion County Emergency Management Agency and National Weather Service has extended its wind chill advisory for the area until 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Very cold wind chills are expected for as low as10 to 25 below zero during the advisory.
The advisory includes Vermilion, Champaign and Piatt counties.
The extreme cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Weather official urge residents to use caution when traveling outside and to wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
