• ARREST: Niagara County Sheriff’s Office criminal investigators arrested a Falls man on Friday on sex offense charges.
Michael Opalka, 54, was charged with one felony count each of possessing a sexual performance by a child less than 16 and possessing obscene sexual performance by a child less than 16. He is being held pending arraignment in Niagara Falls City Court.
