TRAVERSE CITY — Several high school sports in the northern Michigan area had their games canceled or postponed on Tuesday because of inclement weather.
Both the Traverse City Central boys and girls basketball teams were scheduled to face Saginaw Heritage, but those contests were canceled without any make-up date. Brethren girls basketball was set to face Marion but was also canceled.
East Jordan girls and boys basketball postponed their Lake Michigan Conference matchups against Grayling with no date yet set. Lake Leelanau St. Mary versus Grand Traverse Academy girls basketball postponed their game as well.
Bellaire versus Pellston and Gaylord St. Mary versus Onaway postponed their Ski Valley Conference girls basketball games with make-up dates to be announced later.
