BERLIN, Pa. — Berlin exploded for 24 points in the second quarter to down Fort Hill, 57-40, on Thursday night.
The Mountaineers pulled away 40-17 at the half on the strength of the dominating 24-9 period, during which Coral Prosser scored 10 of her game-high 21 points. Regan Lauer also ended in double figures with 12 points.
Nevaeh Bunbasi and MaeLeigh Plummer led the way for Fort Hill (0-7) with 10 points apiece. Bunbasi added five steals, Aubry Spangler pulled down five rebounds and Lindsay Fleming had three blocks.
Fort Hill hosts No. 1 Mountain Ridge (5-0) on Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.
