DANVILLE — With the finalization of the two buildings on the corner of Gilbert and North streets, construction at Carle at The Riverfront is complete.
“We are pleased with the community’s response and feedback that the development is living up to expectations,” Carle officials state.
“We are excited that Specialty Service offerings have expanded along with clinician recruitment for multiple departments at The Riverfront, and we have seen volume growth in Convenient Care Plus, Primary Care and Specialty Services. These priority areas will bring more access to patients throughout the region,” according to Carle.
Carle officials said they have moved the Sleep Lab department into the building along Gilbert Street and are currently seeking tenants for the building along North Street.
The additional tenant space is designed for local businesses that will provide services to the community as well as Carle team members to create a unique and beautiful campus destination for patients and visitors, Carle officials said.
Also looking to 2024, the community received funding through the State of Illinois Health and Human Services in the form of Healthcare Transformation Funding.
Heavenly Square Grocery will be opening in 2024, increasing access to healthy foods.
Carle’s mobile pantry and the Carle Mobile Health Clinic also will allow for mobile services in more remote areas of Danville in the future.
“We are now offering onsite teams of community health workers with continual recruitment, additional social service support, and a growing Healthy Beginnings home visiting nursing team now imbedding into the community,” Carle officials stated.
“We are committed to meeting the needs of the community and will continue to work with the city to provide our patients with excellent health and wellness services,” Carle officials said.
